Send them somewhere gentle, with someone beside them the whole way.

Small escorted journeys for parents aged 60 to 78, arranged by their sons and daughters. An Arabic-speaking host with a nursing background travels with them from the airport gate to the airport gate. A registered nurse travels with them too. Prayer and halal food are planned into every day, not arranged on the spot.

Where this business actually is, today

Our first departure is September 2027. We have never run one yet.

So there are no photographs of our travellers on this page, and no reviews. We have not taken those photographs and nobody has travelled with us to write a review — and we are not going to use stock pictures of strangers to suggest otherwise.

What we do have is the journey itself, written down in full: every night, every drive with its real duration, every meal, every mosque, the lift in every hotel, and the name and distance of the nearest hospital at each stop. That is on the page below, and you can read all of it before you speak to us.

We think that is a better basis for a decision about your mother and father than a photograph of someone else’s.

Who this is for

A son or daughter in the Gulf who wants their parents to travel, and cannot take three weeks off to go with them. Parents aged roughly 60 to 78 who walk unaided, manage their own medication and want to see something — at a pace that does not punish them for it.

And who it is not for, yet

  • Anyone who needs help with washing, dressing or eating. We are not a care service and we will say so.
  • Anyone whose condition or medication has changed in the last six weeks. We would ask you to travel later instead.
  • Anyone looking for medical care abroad. Our wellness days are rest, not therapy, and we make no medical claims at all.

Who is actually beside them

Four people, and each one does a different job. We are precise about this because the difference matters if something goes wrong.

  1. The Rafeeqa — your parents’ host

An Arabic-speaking woman with a nursing or paramedic background, certified in first aid, CPR and safe mobility help. She flies with the group from the Gulf hub and stays with them until they land home. She carries the group’s health passports and writes the evening note to you.

She is a companion with a nursing background. She is not the trip’s nurse and does not practise as one.

  2. The nurse

A nurse registered with the state in the country we are in, contracted through a licensed agency or clinic, working to a written protocol and a doctor’s prescription. She travels on the coach, stays in the same hotel and is on call at night.

Her registration number is printed in the health passport your parents carry.

  3. The doctor

A 24-hour on-call doctor at an internationally accredited hospital, reachable in person or by video, plus Arabic-language telemedicine so your mother can describe how she feels in her own words.

We do not provide medical care ourselves and we make no medical promises.

  4. The health passport

A bilingual document each traveller carries: conditions, medications, allergies, the emergency contacts, the nurse’s registration number and the nearest hospital at every stop.

It is built from a health file that belongs to your parent, not to you. See below.

The health file belongs to your mother or father

Before a departure we ask your parent about their health. That file is theirs, not yours, and we handle it that way from the first line of the database to the last.

The link to fill it in goes to your parent directly — to their own phone or their own email. It is never sent to a family group, and there is no way for us to send it to one.

You will always be told the outcome, because you paid and a decline means your money comes back. You are told the reason only if your parent chooses to share it with you. They are asked that question plainly, and the default answer is no.

Every single time that file is opened — by your parent, by a reviewing doctor, by us — a record is written of who opened it and when. Your parent can ask us for that record.

If a file needs to reach our team in Georgia, that is a transfer of health information across a border, and we ask for that consent separately rather than folding it into a sentence nobody reads.

Files belonging to residents of Saudi Arabia are reviewed by a doctor licensed in Saudi Arabia.

طمّني

Tammenni — طمّني

Every evening, wherever they are, you get a note. Where they went, what they ate, how they slept, whether your father used the lift or the stairs, and a photograph if they want one sent. There is a scheduled video call as well, set up by the host rather than by your mother fighting with a hotel’s wifi.

Tammenni means "put my heart at rest". That is the whole product, really.

About prices

Twelve of our thirteen journeys carry no price on this site, and Georgia does not yet either. That is not an oversight. We price from written supplier quotes, and those quotes are still being negotiated. The day a journey is contracted, its price, its dates and its deposit appear here in full, with what is and is not included.
